Our
circumstances do not confirm or deny God. How we persevere and bear
fruit in spite of our challenges testifies that God is real with the
power to save us.
The
original
mandate to Adam when God said, “Be fruitful and multiply, fill the earth and subdue it...”
has not changed. (Genesis 1:28-30)God repeats His directive to Noah after he leaves the ark. (Genesis 9:1-7) From the Tower of Babel to the dislocating of the Jews to all the earth in response to their rebellious ways; God has been participating in helping this mandate to be fulfilled. |

What
does it mean to live life God's way? It means that our mind is open
to receiving the guidance God gives us through His Word and to let
the Holy Spirit teach us how it applies to our real everyday life
with all of the challenges we face. Since the foundation of our life
is now based on God's perfect love for us the only way we can learn
what this is and looks like is to receive this kind of love from God.
As we learn to recognize His love for us we begin to recognize it in
others. This is how we are able to distinguish from the worlds
concept of what love is and the real thing. |

As Christians, we all are capable of true spirituality. Many of us are confused about what true spirituality is about. We often confuse spirituality with achieving personal goals and self improvement agendas. Whereas true spirituality is about a growing oneness with God. The benefits of self-improvement through transformation and attaining the reality of our hearts desires are all an effect of getting to know the persons of God, personally.
The person of God we often overlook or take for granted is the one closest to us in every way. |

It is impossible to please God without faith. He rewards all who
seek Him. A spiritual awakening occurs when God gives us a greater
revelation of who He is.
As Christians, many of us are waiting for our own mountaintop
experience that takes us further into a life in Jesus. This is
represented in Luke chapter 9:28-36. About 8 days after Peter's
confession that Jesus is the Christ, we are told of the transfiguration
of Jesus. Jesus takes his disciples, Peter, John and James up on a
mountain to pray. |

Our attitude is a choice that has everything to do with us individually
and absolutely nothing to do with our circumstances. We are the salt and
a light in the darkness.
Our thought life has everything to do with our ability to receive and
reflect the goodness of God. When we are bound up in what "we can't do"
we are rejecting the power of God in our life. When we declare what "God
in us can do" we are operating in His power not our own strength. We are moving from glory to glory, growing and transforming into the image of
our One, True, Faithful, Trustworthy King. |

Our
God uses our freedoms to teach us what true freedom really is. When we
freely choose to live our life God's way He changes our heart and we
have peace, joy... .
This is not accomplished through the effort of our own strength and
will. If it is, it leads us into legalism and duty instead of the joy in
life through our relationship with the Living God. If in our heart we
want to live our life His way, He changes us to become willing.
If we
are willing He enables us to make forward progress through our hearts
desire leading us. |

As a child of God, we are to be obedient to the commands He
has given us in the Holy Bible. This is
where we find the guidance for how to live all of life His way and not our
way. Jesus tells us that if we love Him
and want to enter into life then we will obey the commandments.
When we walk in obedience to the instruction
He has given us in the Holy Bible we are given a promise from God. This promise is that we will be able to live
life to the fullest, prospering in every way and that we will bear much
fruit. |

1 Peter 1:13-15 "Therefore, prepare your minds for
action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace given to you when
Jesus Christ is revealed. As obedient children, do not conform to the evil
desires you had when you lived in ignorance. But just as He who called you is
holy, so be holy in all that you do; for it is written: “Be holy because I am
holy.”
As Jesus said on the cross, “It is
finished.” And it is on God’s end. On our end we still have choices to make.
God has already made His. |

1 Corinthians 2:7 "We speak of
God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined
for our glory before time began"
Seeking wisdom is like
seeking a hidden treasure. When we are looking for a treasure,
especially treasure on which our life depends, what do we do?
We don't give up after five minutes. We keep on mining. We keep on
digging. We keep on searching. We do this because it is as if our life depends on it. So we are persistent, committed, and disciplined in our search for this treasure. |

Jesus, the Holy One of God, has paid the additional
price required to restore our freedom to us.
This is the blood sacrifice He willingly made for us as we wounded Him,
the seven wounds He bore for us on the cross. The seven places Jesus shed His blood to
restore us to our original condition, free from all bondage are:
1) The Garden of Gethsemane, where He sweats drops of
blood to redeem our will. 2) At the
whipping post, His stripes redeem us from sickness. |
