God's treasure for us.

1 Corinthians 2:7
"We speak of God's secret wisdom, a wisdom that has been hidden and that God destined for our glory before time began"
Seeking wisdom is like seeking a hidden treasure. When we are looking for a treasure, especially treasure on which our life depends, what do we do?
We don't give up after five minutes. We keep on mining. We keep on digging. We keep on searching. We do this because it is as if our life depends on it. So we are persistent, committed, and disciplined in our search for this treasure.

Our heart's delight is labors reward.

A mans reward for his labor done whole heartedly is his hearts delight. Just as developing our character is intentional so is learning how to live as God's son, as the chosen and adopted child of the Living God.

As we grow into manhood we have choices made for us by those that love us or have the responsibility to care for us. In the beginning of our walk as a young man we are influenced to be who we are by the effect of the choices made for us, including our response or reaction to them.
