Living Free - 3

Before the Cross of Jesus, the judgement was always greater than the sacrifice. Jesus sacrifice was greater than the judgement; one time for all time -- past, present and future. This is double indemnity because we cannot be charged twice for the same sin.
Grace from our God who is for us not out to cause us harm.

The law demands from us and depends on us to keep it. Grace is always about depending on God, who says, I will... . The law demands while grace always gives. Our hard work, our labor,  is to enter the "rest" that God has given us.

Living Free - Week 2

The enemy wants us to be self-focused so that we can determine our own rightness or wrongness, comparing ourself with others. When Christ focused we are looking to God's goodness instead of our own.

We look to Jesus' obedience for our right standing with God. We are not depending on our obedience to what we know to be right with God. The grace we are given is about us receiving what has already been done for us. We receive for today the goodness God has and wants for us.

Living Free

This is a new series on living free with victory, overcoming the world. This is not about a formula for success. This is a way we can process the challenges, opportunities and distractions the world throws at us, being Holy Spirit led. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!

Learning to live free we don't deny our past. Knowledge (not memory) ties our past to the present. Wisdom takes our present into the future. A journey of discovery for who we now are with God's truth for us.
