Living Free

This is a new series on living free with victory, overcoming the world. This is not about a formula for success. This is a way we can process the challenges, opportunities and distractions the world throws at us, being Holy Spirit led. Where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom!

Learning to live free we don't deny our past. Knowledge (not memory) ties our past to the present. Wisdom takes our present into the future. A journey of discovery for who we now are with God's truth for us.

We ask for discernment from the Holy Spirit to help us recognize our habitual choices that takes us where we no longer want to be. We accept responsibility for our choices regardless of why we made them.

Accepting responsibility for our choices is taking ownership without judging ourself. We repent, doing a 180* turn, asking for grace. We ask God to change our heart and replace our (hurtful, destructive, disrespectful, our death focused) habit with a healthy one.

When we repent we change our mind. We turn around and go the other way. We are choosing God's way over our own.
God change our heart: We "consent" to accept God as our Source for life. We consent to receive His strength, His wisdom and His love for us.
God does the rest.

We rest in the power of God Almighty, under the shadow of His wings. God gives us grace for grace. He is giving us grace (what we haven't earned and don't deserve) over and above the grace He has already given us in the past. God's goodness is more than we can imagine.
