Day 19

I cannot live life to the fullest independent of God.
I choose life!

Romans 8:5-11 (NASB)
For those who are according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who are according to the Spirit, the things according to the Spirit. For the mind set on flesh is death, but the mind set on the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind set on the flesh is hostile to God; for it does not subject itself to the law of God, for it is not even able to do so, and those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Day 18

I am free of guilt and shame.
I am given mercy and grace for my mistakes.

Romans 8:1-4 (NASB)
Therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. For the law of the Spirit of life has set you free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, weak as it was through the flesh, God did: sending His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh as an an offering for sin, He condemned sin in the flesh, so that the requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Day 17

Sin is no longer my master.
I want to do what is right in my Fathers eyes.

Romans 6:12-14 (NASB)
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its lusts, and do not go on presenting the members of your body to sin as instruments of unrighteousness; but present yourselves to God as those alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to God. For sin shall not be your master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.

Day 16

I am dying to serving self, daily.
        I am one with Christ.
I am a saint of God

Romans 6:1-7 (NASB)
What shall we say then? Are we to continue in sin so that grace may increase? May it never be! How shall we who died to sin still live in it? Or do you not know that all of us have been baptized into Christ Jesus have been baptized into His death? Therefore we have been buried with Him through baptism into death, so that as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we too might walk in the newness of life.

Day 15

I am more than able because I am made complete in Christ.

Colossians 2:8-12 (NASB)
See to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception, according to the traditions of men, according to the elementary principles of this world, rather than according to Christ. For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;

And in Him you were also circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, in the removal of the body of  flesh by the circumcision of Christ; having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead.

Day 14

I am God’s workmanship,
                  saved only by His grace,
                                         not by my works.

Ephesians 2:4-10 (NASB)
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised up with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.

Day 13

God is replacing my shortcomings and
                                 worldly virtues with His character.

2 Corinthians 3:15-18 (NASB)
But to this day whenever Moses is read, a veil lies over their heart; but whenever a person turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away. Now the Lord is the Spirit, and wherever the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.

Day 12

My chains of bondage are broken. I am no longer a slave.
I have been set free to be who God made me to be.

John 8:31-36 (NASB)
So Jesus was saying to those Jews who had believed Him,"If you continue in my Word, then you are truly disciples of Mine; and you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free."They answered Him, "We are Abraham’s descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that you say, ‘You will become free’?”

Jesus answered them,"Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin.

Day 11

I share the DNA of Jesus. I am now of royal descent, a prince and heir.

Romans 8:14-17 (NASB)
“For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are the sons of God. For you have not received a spirit of slavery leading to fear again, but you have received a spirit of adoption by which we cry out, ‘Abba! Father!’ The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God, and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified.

Day 10

I have been chosen and I belong to my God.

1 Thessalonians 1:4-5 (NLT)“We know that God loves you, dear brothers and sisters, and that He chose you to be His own people. For when we brought you the Good News, it was not only with words but also with power, for the Holy Spirit gave you full assurance that what we said was true. And you know that the way we lived among you was further proof of the truth of our message.”

2 Thessalonians 3:3-5 (NLT)“But the Lord is faithful; He will make you strong and guard you from the evil one.
